Responsible Gambling
Keep play within your means
Treat gambling as entertainment and set a clear spending budget. Keep track of the time you spend playing as well as the money you use. Your gambling should leave room for everyday responsibilities and relationships. You can stop playing whenever you choose, for a short break or permanently.
Recognise changes in your habits
Consider whether your spending has gone beyond what you can afford. Notice if gambling is replacing time with family or friends, taking place during work, or becoming a way to avoid stress. Playing longer than intended or staying awake into the early morning to continue are also reasons to reconsider your habits.
Consider your response when you lose. Anger after losing and attempts to recover losses through further gambling belong among the behaviours to assess. If any of these situations apply to you, pause to consider the impact of your play and seek help with changing it.
Arrange a time out
Contact casino customer support to request a time out on your Big Boost account. Once the break is activated, you cannot log in while it remains in force. This gives you space away from play when you are concerned about your gambling or need to manage the time it takes up.
Request self-exclusion
If gambling is harming you or the people around you, ask customer services for self-exclusion. During the exclusion period, access to your account and gambling services is blocked, and promotional messages stop.
You cannot make deposits, submit withdrawal requests or access the account balance during that period. After the exclusion ends, contact support about any request to reopen. A consideration period forms part of the reopening procedure. Do not treat the end of an exclusion period as an automatic return to play.
Permanent exclusion and other accounts
You can request permanent self-exclusion. Your casino account is then closed permanently, and the remaining funds are returned when you request them.
Exclusion across other White Star brands needs a separate request to each brand or a specific e-mail instruction asking support to act across them. Give enough information to identify your existing accounts. This wider request covers the existing brands where you have already registered. Do not assume that excluding one account automatically excludes every other account you hold.
Support beyond an account break
If a pause is not enough, Gamblers Anonymous offers international support and a place to discuss problem gambling with others who have been affected. Reaching out can be a next step when you want to talk about the effects of gambling on your life. You can also contact casino support to discuss the account restrictions described here.
